A new artist-focused network for international collaboration

Taipei Performing Arts Center, a new theatre devoted to contemporary art and performance, is launching ADAM – Asia Discovers Asia Meeting for Contemporary Performance, from 24 to 27 Aug. 20 artists from various disciplines from across the Asia-Pacific region are invited to a two-week residency, in which they work thematically and collectively, forming ideas for future collaboration. At the end of the Lab, there will be presentations for ADAM participants.

Panel discussions will be held, on Asian artistic and industrial development, moderated by delegates from the Asia-Pacific region. There will be an opportunity to attend performances, which are held at the time as part of Taipei Arts Festival.

Taipei Performing Arts Center cordially welcomes like-minded organisations to join us in our quest to set up this network to further the arts in the Asia-Pacific region.
