Showcase with artists of the performing arts scene in Southeast Asia

What does the performing arts scene in Southeast Asia look like? The Goethe Institute invited 10 artists from 8 countries from this region, to network within an international platform with the artist scene in Berlin during the Theatertreffen.

Einar & Bert provides the artists with the stage in order to present themselves to the public in short showcases. The performers, musicians, dancers and directors come from Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam.

An event as part of the international plattform of the Theatertreffen “Shifting Perspectives” as well as the International Coproduction Funds (ICF) of the Goethe Institute.

The ICF supports international innovative projects in exchange with the German cultural scene.

Five production of the International Coproduction Funds that already have been realized are shown during this year’s Theatertreffen.
